Overview

Stelmar Labs operates Shelfie Snap it. List it. Sell it. From shelf to sale. Shelfie is a mobile listing assistant (the "app") that helps you turn photos into AI listing drafts and post them to marketplaces. This policy describes what information the app and our online services collect and how we use it.

Sign-in and account data

You can sign in with Sign in with Apple and/or a mobile phone number (one-time SMS code). You may use either method alone, or link both methods to the same Shelfie account in Settings so either opens the same inventory.

SMS verification program

Phone sign-in and phone linking use a transactional SMS program. You opt in only when you request a code for a number you enter: review the SMS disclosure in the app, agree to the consent checkbox, and tap Send code. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS.

See our Terms of Service for the full SMS program terms, and Support for the opt-in flow and screenshots.

Photos and listing content

When you analyze photos, images — and any identification notes you add, such as what the item is — are sent to our servers and forwarded to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI or Google Gemini, depending on configuration) to generate listing drafts. Photos and notes are processed for that request. Listing text and photos are also stored on your device.

Cloud sync

When you are signed in, Shelfie backs up listing metadata and photos to our servers so you can restore them on a new device. Sync runs while you remain signed in. You can delete listings in the app at any time and sign out to stop cloud backup on that device.

Subscriptions and in-app purchases

Shelfie Plus is an auto-renewing App Store subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. We store App Store transaction identifiers, product id, environment (Sandbox or Production), expiry, revocation date when Apple sends one, and the full signed transaction JWS so we can verify the purchase and honor refunds. Complimentary grants may include an admin-authored note. Subscription status, usage counters, and App Store Server Notification records (including notification UUIDs) are stored so we can enforce the free-tier cap and ignore Apple retries.

Manage or cancel auto-renewal in Apple Account settings. Deleting your Shelfie account does not cancel an App Store subscription.

Marketplaces and third parties

Shelfie helps you copy listing text and share photos so you can post on marketplaces such as eBay, Facebook, Mercari, and OfferUp. We do not post on your behalf. Anything you publish on a third-party platform is subject to that platform's terms and policies. Sign in with Apple is provided by Apple; use of that feature is also subject to Apple's terms and privacy practices. In-app purchases are provided by Apple; payment is processed by Apple, not by Stelmar Labs.

Device and usage data

Our servers log structured events (errors, rate limits, authentication) for reliability. We may use a crash and error reporting service (Sentry) with technical diagnostics; we do not sell personal data. Server logs may include account identifiers and request metadata.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your Shelfie account from Settings → Delete Account in the app. Deletion removes your account, linked sign-in methods (phone and Apple), sessions, cloud listing backups, photos, and Plus records from our servers: apple_entitlements, apple_transactions linked to your account, complimentary_grants, Plus monthly and daily counters, and App Store webhook / notification UUID records associated with your transactions. Listing content you already published on third-party marketplaces is not removed by Shelfie. Deleting the Shelfie account does not cancel an App Store subscription — manage or cancel in Apple Account settings. If you previously texted STOP to our SMS sender, we keep that opt-out so we do not message you again if the same number is reused.
