Overview

Stelmar Labs operates Shelfie — Snap it. List it. Sell it. From shelf to sale. Shelfie is a mobile listing assistant (the "app") that helps you turn photos into AI listing drafts and post them to marketplaces. This policy describes what information the app and our online services collect and how we use it.

SMS verification program

If you sign in with your mobile phone number, you opt in to receive one-time SMS verification codes when you tap Send code in the app. Messages are transactional only — we do not send marketing or promotional SMS.

• How you opt in: enter your mobile number in the app, review the SMS disclosure, and tap Send code.
• Message frequency: varies. You receive SMS only when you request a sign-in code.
• Rates: message and data rates may apply.
• Opt-out: reply STOP to our sender number. Reply HELP for help or email support@stelmarlabs.com.
• Data use: we use your phone number to deliver verification codes and secure your account.
• No sale or sharing of SMS opt-in data: we do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent data with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share data with our SMS delivery provider only as needed to send verification messages.

Photos and listing content

When you analyze photos, images are sent to our servers and forwarded to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI or Google Gemini, depending on configuration) to generate listing drafts. Photos are processed for that request. Listing text and photos are also stored on your device.

Cloud sync

When you are signed in, Shelfie backs up listing metadata and photos to our servers so you can restore them on a new device. Sync runs while you remain signed in. You can delete listings in the app at any time and sign out to stop cloud backup on that device.

Marketplaces and third parties

Shelfie helps you copy listing text and share photos so you can post on marketplaces such as eBay, Facebook, Mercari, and OfferUp. We do not post on your behalf. Anything you publish on a third-party platform is subject to that platform's terms and policies.

Device and usage data

Our servers log structured events (errors, rate limits, authentication) for reliability. We do not sell personal data. Server logs may include anonymized account identifiers and request metadata.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your Shelfie account from Settings → Delete Account in the app. Deletion removes your account, sessions, cloud listing backups, and photos from our servers. Listing content you already published on third-party marketplaces is not removed by Shelfie. If you previously texted STOP to our SMS sender, we keep that opt-out so we do not message you again if the same number is reused.

Your choices

• Delete listings anytime in the app.
• Export a JSON backup from the inventory screen.
• Sign out to stop cloud sync on that device.
• Delete your account from Settings to erase server-side data.
• Reply STOP to opt out of verification SMS.
